Our Trip to West Virginia

Dad took Levi & Adrianna to Moorefield, West Virginia for a few days.
Moorefield is where Dad's side of the family has lived...forever.

Looking down on Moorefield.

One of Moorefield's claims to fame...Eleanor Roosevelt stayed here for a few days!

We took a 2 1/2 hour ride through the mountains on the Potomac Eagle
...a restored steam locomotive.

This is the train that we rode "through the mountains and through the woods".

One of 7 bald eagles we saw across the river from the train.
(It's inside the circle.)

Oh, I love old houses!! Come to think of it I like old trains to, and old air planes and cars... Pretty much anything that can be classified antique.
