Thanksgiving - A Little Early

Every year we miss seeing Granny & Grandpa for Thanksgiving, Christmas,
and FIVE of the seven birthdays at our house!
* * *
So this year we decided to have Thanksgiving early...
before they leave for Arizona...
while we freeze our tails here in Indiana.
* * *
We also had some of our cousins down from Chicago too.
It was SO much fun. Cousins are great.

Grandpa loves to eat.

Granny & our cousins got a tour of our treehouse.
It's also Dad's creative office...and turns into the coolest deerstand
in the world every November!

Bambi?

Time for ANOTHER picture!!!

Newlyweds...how cute.

Levi was winning...until Bethany learned how to play.

Sisters (our cousins, Danae & Bethany)

An old card game - Ivanhoe
She's still smiling...she's only participated in a couple tournaments so far.
Lost that tournament?

Should I play my Riposte or my Shield card?

Serious game!
The games got pretty intense as the evening progressed.

Time to say goodbye!
We had such fun!

Thanks for posting the photos. I wish we could have been there, but strangely, it looks like you had an okay time without us. Imagine!

Well, we DID think of you...and missed you. It was so good to meet Doug and see the girls again. We hadn't seen Danae in YEARS! You have great kids...but you already knew that!

Love all the pictures, Kim. It is a good idea, since it is hard keeping up with all your newest adventures if I'm not talking to you every day.
Does Dree look like Chrissie, or is it just me?
Where are you all going next? Skiing, scuba diving..? Oh, I know....Washington D.C. for the swearing-in ceremony! ;-)
Love you,
Heather
