Happy Birthday Dad!!!

We celebrated Dad's b-day last Sunday.
Happy Birthday Dad!!
You truly are the BEST Dad in the world!!!

For dessert we had Dad's favorite pie: French Silk.
If you ever make or buy Dad a French Silk pie, you will be in his good opinion forever :)
Some cards are pretty exciting!

Now, let me explain this picture. All of us like Twizzlers...EXCEPT...Mom. In her opinion they are "pieces of flavored, red plastic." Soooo, you will appreciate the SACRIFICE involved when she bought Dad a 4 lb. box of Twizzlers for his birthday.

Twizzlers are the BEST!! They're really great flavored pieces of red plastic. Great for trips when you need to chew on your cud!!!

Alot better than Neccos, Kim!!!!

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday, Craig!!

Okay Prego,
Why settle for second-best? How COULD you choose great-tasting plastic when dark chocolate with nuts is available? By the way, please put this on your "to do" list, the 25th is on Sunday!!!

We cheated and stopped at Baker's Square ... and got TWO. One doesn't last long enough.

Well, I just found a box with your name on it in the garage...so it might arrive after the fact!!

Do you have a preference in just what nuts are hiding in your gourmet chocolate??

I just want to be sure to eat all the pieces you won't like before shipping it off!!

Oh, I'm very easy to please. Almonds, pecans, peanuts, macademia, whatever my hand findeth to eat. And then dark choc is the best, but I've never turned down milk or semisweet either. Very easy, my dear, very easy to please.

And about that package in the garage...WHEN did you put up a garage?

Chrissie H. January 23, 2009 at 12:10 PM

Oh, we have lots of garages, I just can't park my car in any of them!! LOL

Maybe you should come out for a visit and see for yourself!!

Oh, was this post about Craig's Bday?? I think we got a wee bit sidetracked. Sorry!!

Chrissie and Kim.. You need to save your sarcasm for Coldstone!

I did notice the "Neccos" comment.
Chrissie, I already sent my box to Kim.. one guess...
BTW, I much prefer Twizzlers ... I'll just leave it at that.

Craig, happy, happy Birthday. Love the last picture of you with your kids! We frequent the Twizzler stash too...call them "twisty wisties" around here.

Happy birthday, Craig (Mr. Arnold). The day you were born was a very good moment in history.
Can't believe you are a day over 35!
Love,
Heather R
p.s. Yeah, only one french silk pie would NOT suffice for 6 adults...who actually assumed you had gotten only one? Sheesh, people! ;=) I think you have a stock pile in the freezer that no one is talking about.
