Behind the scene shots from "Two Friends and a Song"

Matthew getting a keyboard shot

"Does this camera make me look fat?"

On a camera like this one, you're always making adjustments. Here, Matthew is 'pulling focus' for a close up shot of Nikki at the piano.

Nikki and Lizzie in the recording studio

This is our friend Andy Dean. In additon to being a dedicated Christian, husband, and father, Andy is a nationally recognized Director of Photography and an accomplished cinematographer with a client list that includes some of the most recognized music and entertainment organizations in the world. Andy is helping Open Fire Media with our film work.

This is where the shot of the girls driving up to the barn ended. Safely!

Nikki practicing at the Kentland Community Center.

Craig and Matthew setting up the shot of the girls riding their horses through the sunlight.

Nikki tacking-up 'Firebird' for his ride. (No animals were harmed in the making of this movie.) A special thanks to Adrianna (Arnold) for preparing the stables and horses for the shoot.

Two friends.

The main camera is hooked up to this monitor which allows the person directing the shoot to see the shot clearly.

The 'clapper' slate (which Matthew is holding) is used to make post-production editing more efficient.

A special thanks to Johnny Ferry (far right) who served as the Key Grip (the person in charge of setting up the set). Without him, we'd still be out there filming.

This shot was taken right before the shoot in the woods.

So when are you two touring Montana? We like fiddles and horses out here! :) It is a great movie, and I'm going to try real hard to figure out a reason to show it off!

the "thanks" should really go to Levi, without him, Johnny, "I" would have just been standing out there looking stupid, which I was anyway:).
